Nigeria’s Super Eagles continue their impressive performance in the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier with another victory over Mediterranean Knights of Libya.
Playing at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, the North African side stood their ground to end the first stanza a goalless draw.

The host returned for the second half and they were able to peg back their opponent who had grown in confidence.
After much pressure, substitute Fisayo Dele-Bashiru gave Super Eagles the much needed goal through a stunner off an assist from FC Nantes winger Moses Simon.
The win ensured that Nigeria maintained their position as the group leader ahead of Benin and Rwanda.
