After going through a turbulent period, Super Eagles players have decided not to honor the game against Libya.
The Nigerian side were left stranded at the Abraq airport on Sunday after their flight was directed from Benghazi to the new landing venue.
Players within themselves decided to boycott the game owing not availability of security and poor treatment.
Williams Troost-Ekong, captain of the team took to his social media to confirm the stance of the Eagles to boycott the match day four of the ongoing AFCON qualifiers.
12+ hours in an abandoned airport in Lybia after our plane was diverted whilst descending. Lybian government rescinded our approved landing in Benghazi with no reason. They’ve locked the airport gates and left us without phone connection, food or drink. All to play mind games.

And immediately the players changed their mind about the game, the Nigeria Football Federation commenced the preparation to return to Nigeria.
The Confederation of African Football is yet to release any statement about the situation in Libya.
